What is concierge medicine, exactly?

Concierge medicine is a membership model in which a physician limits the size of their practice — dramatically — in exchange for the ability to give each patient the time, access, and attention that conventional primary care can’t provide. Dr. Stein’s members have his direct phone and text, same-day or next-day appointments, extended visit times, and a physician who actually knows their history. It’s what primary care was supposed to be.

Does BRCM accept insurance?

Boca Raton Concierge Medicine operates outside the insurance billing model. The membership fee covers Dr. Stein’s time, access, and services directly. Many members maintain a separate insurance policy for hospitalizations, specialist care, imaging, and other costs outside the primary care relationship. Dr. Stein’s 34-year referral network ensures that when specialist care is needed, you’re sent to the right person.

How many patients does Dr. Stein see?

Dr. Stein deliberately limits his panel to a fraction of a conventional practice’s patient load. That limit is what makes everything else on this page possible — the time, the availability, the depth of the relationship. Membership availability is limited as a result.
